As a Resource Soil Scientist, Sherry’s responsibilities include technical soil services such as wetland determinations for USDA program participants and the dissemination of soil survey maps and land-use interpretations to employees, partners, and the general public. In addition, she works cooperatively with conservation partners on projects and events, such as the Sunbelt Ag Expo, the Conservation Production Systems Training Conference, the Natural Resources Conservation Workshop, and the Georgia Envirothon.Sherry is extremely knowledgeable in the areas of soil properties, soil classification, and soil interpretations, as well as wetland delineations. In addition, she provides training and technical assistance to NRCS
